  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Fresh Garlic Cloves

  • Pre-Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Frozen Chopped Spinach
  • Chopped Fresh Flat-Leaf Parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Italian Seasoning

Let’s make this delicious dinner step by step;

Prepare the Chicken

First, marinate your chicken with your favorite seasoning and some olive oil. Make sure to coat the chicken well. Use a cast iron skillet or a non-stick pan and cook the chicken tenders over medium-high heat until they’re nicely seared and fully cooked. The chicken should not be dry. 

Let the chicken rest on a chopping board, then chop it into chunks and toss them in their own juice to enhance the flavor.

Boil Lasagna Sheets

Boil lasagna as per the package instructions until al dente. This means they should still have a bit of a bite to them, perfect for assembly later.

Make Creamy Alfredo Sauce

Next, it’s time to create the spinach alfredo sauce. In a non-stick pan, melt some butter and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add seasoning, flour, and toast briefly before pouring in milk and cream. 

Cook over medium/low heat until you reach a nice sauce consistency. Then, stir in spinach and parmesan cheese to enrich the flavor. Trust me, this sauce is a game-changer!

Assemble the Lasagna

Preheat your oven to 375 F using the conventional bottom burner setting. In a glass or ceramic baking dish, start assembling. Spread a generous amount of Alfredo sauce at the bottom, then a layer of lasagna sheets. 

Add sauce, chopped chicken, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat until you have three layers, adjusting sheets or strips to fill any gaps. For the top layer, ensure everything is covered with sauce and cheese.

Bake the Lasagna

To prevent the top from sticking, place several toothpicks or skewers at the same height as the pan across the lasagna. Cover with foil and bake. 

After about 45 minutes, do a quick broil to get the cheese on top melted and charred just right.
